Can you sketch gentrification? An urban phenomenon that we all more or less understand what it means, but it is quite challangeing to be visualized. During the book launch of the book "The Urban Revolution is a Fun Sketch" we did a little workshop. All the participants were asked to form groups and deliver one single sketch that will illustrate the process of gentrification. We received 13 entries and all of them were super engaging. Here we present the first round of sketches. In addition to this, we allow our selves to take the freedom and describe each illustration with one word. 1. One way direction 2. Explosion 3. Formal justice 4. Urban Packman
Furthermore, these sketches are somehow very compatible with a You Tube video with the famous marxist social-geographer David Harvey.
