We did it. We finally did it.
On 15th of November we launched our first book:
"The Urban Revolution is a Fun Sketch"
So many great people full with sparkling energy and loaded curiosity came at the book launch.
Literally the biggest reward you can imagine.
However, at the book launch we didn't talk much about the book. Instead, we focused on the points that this book promotes. More so, we tried to present the major ideas by avoiding classical book promotion and offering immersive and engaging experience.
First we watched a short video that was in fact a compilation from our You Tube content.
Than we had an interesting presentation followed by sketching workshop.
Afterwards everyone was invited to visit the mysterious basement that was decorated with candles and provoking illustrations hidden in the darkness.
Finally we had an exhibition from the workshop and in the end we voted for the best sketch.
All of this was followed by laugher, talk, snack and drinks.
There were many memorable things and the night was packed with positive vibrations, socialization and self learning process.
However something that really stayed with us is that everyone was pro-active and gave the best in order to put an urban thought on a piece of paper.
Many were modest, shy and not confident that their sketch was good or pointful.
The truth was the complete opposite. All the sketches were so nicely packed with information, that we responsibly claim, they could compete with a skillful urban planners.
The sketches were concise, clear and conducted with a cheerful critique.
That is the point of the book "The Urban Revolution is a fun sketch"
You are allowed and encouraged to conduct urban criticism with fun, charming and "out of the box" sketch.
Soon we will publish those sketches!
